Inflation time depends on the size of the tire and how low the pressure is. Generally, topping off a slightly low car tire (e.g., from 28 PSI to 35 PSI) takes between 1 to 3 minutes. Fully inflating a completely flat standard car tire typically takes 4 to 8 minutes. Our high-performance design ensures quick and efficient inflation, especially in cold weather.
Our Frost Pump is specifically engineered for winter use. While all battery performance can be slightly impacted by extreme cold, we use specialized components and battery technology optimized for low temperatures. This ensures the pump maintains reliable power and high performance when you need it most. We recommend storing the pump in a warm environment (like inside your house) when not in use for extended periods during severe cold snaps.
Most portable air pumps draw power when they are in use, but they do not actively drain your battery when turned off. However, for safety and to prevent accidental drainage of your vehicle's battery, it is always recommended that you unplug the pump from the 12V DC outlet (cigarette lighter) immediately after you are finished using it.
